Flair Designs is entering its second decade of exceptional growth and worldwide acclaim. Through trade shows across the United States and throughout Europe, exhibitions at the Los Angeles Museum of Art and featured magazine articles, our designs are reaching an ever expanding audience. These achievements may be attributed to our business philosophy: to create truly beautiful fabric and surface art; to believe that our products will find the right people; and to know that our customers will be enriched through the process of our creating together. To further these goals, we have opened our new studio and gallery, and now offer our website in much the same spirit.

Marlis Kuusela is our design artist, and in addition is a teacher of art and gifted education. Marlis was selected by Impressions magazine as one of the top seven airbrush artists in the United States, and her award-winning art has been featured in many trade books and magazines.

The art of Flair is composed with the airbrush. A gentle spray of air distributes acrylic paint to the surface in a beautifully subtle way, with touches and shadings unique to this process. So well suited for all art forms from abstract to photo-realism, airbrushing produces durable designs that are never exactly alike...each is an original creation.
